Communications Intern – Atlanta Diaper Relief
Atlanta Diaper Relief, a non-profit Diaper Bank in Metro Atlanta is seeking a Communications Intern for three-months to assist with our operations.
Although this internship will be a virtual opportunity, the intern is expected to perform all duties professionally and exceptionally.

Interns at Atlanta Diaper Relief will have a number of responsibilities ranging from administrative tasks and office duties to aiding with community outreach, research, event planning and charity drives.

As a Communications Intern at ADR, daily duties will include updating social media networks, updating and maintaining press contact lists, planning fundraising events, organizing diaper drives, administrative duties like writing press releases, newsletters, thank you letters and assisting with the office's day-to-day communications operations, and doing research and writing.

Internship Qualifications:
• Excellent internet research skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is
 Required.
 • Strong writing and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to write clearly and persuasively.

• Strong interest in new media and journalism

• Ideal interns are high energy, positive, flexible, have the ability to multi-task and take initiative when needed. Also able to take direction without issue.

Interns must also have in-depth knowledge of how to interact on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

It is expected that all interns perform work in a professional manner, especially on social media forums.

All internships are unpaid, but students earn class credit for their internship and receive a glowing recommendation letter (subject to performance).
