Public Relations Coordinator::Stone Mountain Park


Specific duties include:
  • Write and/or assist in writing press releases for special events or key marketing hooks
  • Assist in the planning and/or coordination of events or media functions
  • Assist in the development of coordinating press kits; fulfill press kit, brochure, and donation requests
  • Assist in updating and maintaining the PR media contact database and the Park's online press room
  • Organize and maintain the photo/slide library
  • Develop an overall annual editorial calendar of print publications
  • Serve as initial contact for filming and photography requests
  • All other duties as assigned
All applicants should meet the following requirements:
  • Some college experience is preferred, specifically in Marketing
  • Previous experience relating to the general public is preferred
  • Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License, along with reliable transportation to travel to various points around the Park while at work
  • Must be able to perform multiple tasks at once
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be well-organized and detail oriented
