Director, Crime Stoppers Atlanta


The Director will work with the Crime Stoppers Atlanta Advisory Board and program committees to coordinate marketing strategies, facilitate strategic planning efforts, report program progress and maintain the integrity of the program.  A successful candidate will have the ability to multitask and possess strong communication/marketing skills.
  The Director is responsible for the reporting of Crime Stoppers Atlanta including the ability to answer program questions for APD staff, key Foundation constituents and others.  This position will review, manage and track all Crime Stoppers Atlanta budget activity.  Excellent communication skills are required forpreparing written and verbal presentations on programmatic activity.  The Crime Stoppers director also plans and executes annual strategic plans, including fundraising initiatives.


Job Requirements
o    Bachelors Degree in a program related field (Criminal Justice, Business, Marketing or Public Relations).
o    Demonstrated project management experience.
o    Experience in committee leadership and work.
o    Experience managing budgets.
o    Experience in sales and/or fundraising
o    Experience in strategic planning and program development
o    Experience in Public Relations/Communications
o    Some understanding of law enforcement and/or government operations a plus.


Salary commensurate with experience.
