- Candidate will be an additional resource assisting Corporate Marketing Dept. and Internal Communications and Corporate Social Media teams
- Assignments include writing for both electronic and print companywide internal publications, as well as corporate social media and corporate marketing
- Assist in the planning and execution of corporate marketing/advertising campaigns
- Help guide the implementation of marketing materials pertaining to sponsorship programs and customer entertainment activities
- Actively involved in compiling and assembling data for metric reports
- Design electronic media signage and manage the process to keep signage regularly updated
- Manage and maintain data base of GP news articles and press releases
- Will be responsible for daily social media monitoring
- Assist director and managers on projects as needed
IDEAL CANDIDATE TRAITS:
- Journalism, Communications or Public Relations degree preferred
- 1-2 years’ work experience preferred
- Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communications
- Candidate must be able to write news and feature-style articles and must understand basic principles of journalism, news writing, social media and Associated Press style.
(Writing test will be administered.) - Must understand and use Microsoft Office tools, especially Word and PowerPoint. Experience with more advanced graphic design tools helpful.
- Capable of delivering on goals with minimal supervision
- Excellent time and project management, decision-making, initiative, collaboration and presentation skills
