Intern - Corporate Communications, Allegiant Travel Company, Las Vegas, Nevada


As an Allegiant intern, you will be involved in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Communications/Marketing department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Developing promotions

- Coordinating events

- Promoting Allegiant at events

- Collecting marketing data

- Maintenance of important customer data

TERM OF INTERNSHIP:

- Semester & Term: Spring/Summer: (approximately April - October), Event dates will vary

- Interns, their spouse, parents, domestic partner, or travel companion & any eligible unmarried dependent children under the age of 21, of the intern will receive unlimited, space available, individual flight privileges on Allegiant Air (all fees waived) for the term of the internship

- No medical or similar benefits are provided

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be enrolled in a four (4) year college or university

- Have completed at least your sophomore year in college

- Have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA

- Have an identified course of study in the marketing, advertising and/or public relations fields

- Successfully complete an interview

- Be computer literate and proficient in utilizing Word and Excel programs

- Complete an application for employment

- Must pass a ten (10) year background check and five (5) year pre-employment drug test

- Must have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigrations Act of 1986

KNOWLEDGE:

- Some public relations/marketing/advertising classes

- Basic office software and online competency

- Familiarity with basic research methods

EDUCATION:

Currently enrolled in a four (4) year college or university, Junior or higher standing, marketing/advertising/public relations fields of study desired
