Gain Real World Experience with a PR Internship at Primrose Schools®

franchising business model? If so, an internship with Primrose Schools® may be just the thing for you!
We’re looking for someone who likes to be challenged, a go-getter who is willing to go the extra mile,
and we are particularly looking for a strong writer.  If you have a passion for making a difference,

Primrose Schools (www.primroseschools.com) is looking for an intern to work a maximum of 20 hours a week from our corporate campus in Acworth, Ga. beginning January 2013.  The length of this
internship is flexible.

Intern Candidates Must:
 Be enrolled as a college junior or senior, or a recent college graduate (We will happily accept recent
graduates assuming you can make a commitment of at least four months).
 Have strong writing skills, a familiarity with AP Style and willing to submit two writing samples (preferably not class
assignments, if possible).
 Have Social Media experience – be actively involved in the social space. Be able to act in a professional
manner and have a certain level of comfort interacting with professionals in an office environment.
 Be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher).
Intern Activities:
 Various writing assignments including but not limited to: researching and writing spotlights for corporate
extranet site, campaign toolkits, weekly update announcements and other assignments as needed.
 Manage school-level social media engagement and regularly update social media tracker.
 Manage all weekly media monitoring and tracking for Primrose and industry news.
 Assist in sourcing research/stats/information for various communications and PR projects.
 Conduct research and write content to highlight franchise owners on the company’s extranet.
 Work alongside the Primrose PR Team on a variety of projects including, but not limited to: internal
communications, social media, franchising PR and various school-level PR campaigns.

Proposed Stipend For Primrose Schools Interns:
 $12/hr – 20 hours per week (we can be flexible based on your class schedule if still in school)
