Internship, F2 Communications Group (Atlanta, GA)

F2 Communications seeks a Public Relations Intern who is self-motivated, hardworking, creative and excited to apply their academic knowledge to real-world writing, media relations, marketing and promotions scenarios. Duties may include writing PR materials or marketing copy including press releases, website content, coordinating program books and specialty publications, managing PR archives and photo resources, coordinating guests for live radio broadcasts, preparing media kits, planning special events or promotions, interacting with clients, outside design vendors and members of the media, assisting with social media outreach efforts, collecting research and assisting clients with overall marketing and PR campaigns.

This position requires STRONG written and verbal communication skills, proofreading skills, the ability to work to deadlines and effectively multi-task. Candidates pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Business, Marketing or another related field strongly preferred.

The position is considered an unpaid internship and requires a commitment of 15-30 hours a week (depending on role assigned). The intern will be provided with most tools necessary to complete job requirements, but will need a laptop computer. While the majority of the position duties will be completed in the office, some events are outdoors. Some small amounts of driving may be required to transport supplies to events or attend off-site meetings.
 
Office Hours: Monday-Friday, anytime between 10am and 6pm • Some weekends and weeknights, depending on role assigned
• Length and time period of internship will depend on each intern’s individual goals, with internships available for anywhere from one month to a year.
