Information and Referral Specialist, Suburban Hospital, Bethesda,
Maryland

Suburban Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, has an
opportunity for a full-time Information and Referral Specialist in the
Marketing and Public Affairs Dept.  As the first point of contact for
many community members calling Suburban Hospital, this person will
represent the hospital with a friendly, helpful, and positive attitude.
The Information and Referral Specialist manages between 500 and 800
phone calls each month from people looking for more information about
hospital services, wanting to register for a health and wellness class
or who need a referral to a physician.

The ideal candidate is dedicated to exceeding the expectations of our
callers.  Excellent oral communications skills are necessary, as well as
the ability to work independently and problem-solve in real time.
Experience with the MS Office Suite of products required as well as
interest and ability to learn the Centramax call management system.
