Showtime Networks, Inc. Spring Internship Program is designed to provide exposure
to the cable/entertainment industry. We are looking for college students who are
eager to learn and have a passion for pursing a career in the entertainment arena.
Undergraduate students must be entering their JUNIOR or SENIOR year in the spring.
The PR Intern will work closely with our LA and NY offices and be responsible for
the following:
*The department's press clip package that gets distributed daily to the entire
company.
*Assist the show publicists with arranging set visits, writing episode synopses,
picking photography and writing media alerts and press announcements.
*Assist with PR events such as TCA and in-house press screenings as well maintain
press contact lists
Required Skills/Experience
The Public Relations Department is looking for a bright, personable, ambitious
intern with an interest entertainment public relations. They need to have the
following:
*Adequate Writing Skills
*Experience working in a fast pace setting
*Be able to multi-task
PLEASE NOTE: The Internship program is UNPAID. Students MUST obtain college credit,
which they will need to work out with their school advisor's. There are NO
EXCEPTIONS in regards to the college credit requirement. If the Internship
Coordinator does not have proof of receiving credit on or before the start date of
the internship, you will not be allowed to continue in the program.
Internship Dates: Jan 16th - May 25th
