Publicity Internship at Fox Searchlight in Los Angeles, CA

To be considered you must be a student currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.

The role of the national publicity department at Fox Searchlight is to design and implement publicity campaigns, strategize with filmmakers and execute special projects.

Interns will be exposed to marketing campaigns for all Searchlight films from the beginning of production to after release.

Projects/Tasks: Interns will learn what goes into building a film campaign and work closely with the LA publicity teams responsible for promoting Fox Searchlight films. They will research potential publicity opportunities relating to Searchlight's current and future projects and help to create and implement publicity campaigns for multiple films at a time. Interns are encouraged to attend select meetings, screenings, press days and help out at events (some red carpet ones as well).

The internship should be viewed as a true learning experience and questions are always welcome! Interns will receive a broad range of experiences also working closely with the Fox Searchlight photo editor, special events team and field / national publicity teams.

Learning Objectives: Must be able to create and seek out projects when needed and be an overall self-starter who thinks 'out of the box' and can multi-task. Proficient verbal and written communication skills are highly important. Prior internship experience in the film industry and/or public relations is also preferred. 20th Century Fox is an equal opportunities employer.
