| Job Requirements | Intern will be responsible for researching external speaking opportunities for MGA analysts, and developing a network of contacts for future engagements. Will also assist with organizing client events and conferences, as well as some marketing collateral. May be asked to cover light administrative duties, including preparing conference materials, database management, etc. in a very limited context. Ideal candidate will have at least one year of public relations experience including event planning and conference organization. An interest or experience in finance and economics is a definite plus, although not mandatory. However, candidates should have at least a general interest in political news both domestic and international (please address this background/interest in your cover letter if it is not immediately apparent on your resume). Strong online research skills will be needed, along with general Microsoft Word, Excel, and Photoshop abilities. Roughly 16 hours per week, flexible depending on student schedule. Internship is unpaid, but am happy to work with student on whatever they need to receive school credit, if applicable. |
