Brandware Public Relations is looking for a paid intern!

Brandware Public Relations (www.brandwarepr.com), is an independently owned full-service boutique firm with exciting national clients. We specialize in enthusiast consumer brands within automotive, powersports, men’s lifestyle and related pulse-pounding categories, but also serve high-performance B2B tech clients.

We are looking for a high-energy, self-motivated public relations intern who will assist our team with the full range of agency services, from administrative duties, such as scanning, filing and media list development, to media relations, editorial services, events and more.  This is an excellent opportunity for gaining valuable real world experience, building your resume and even establishing valuable media contacts that will differentiate you in the job market.  And, if you really wow us, we might just keep make you an offer for a permanent position.

To be considered, you’ll have recently completed a bachelor’s program in English, Communications, Journalism,  Marketing or Business.  Or, persuade us how your unique background adds value to our team.

You are:  highly organized; a fast, accurate and creative writer; skilled verbal communicator; flexible multi-tasker; skilled user of social media platforms and tools; voracious news consumer; quick study; self-motivated.  Prior agency internships or a practical understanding of today’s basic agency tools, such as the Cision® media database, tracking/measurement software and distribution tools is preferred.  In addition to a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, you get bonus points for a working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, basic HTML, FBML and Wordpress.  Our agency culture values enthusiastic, creative, energetic and confident individuals who aren’t afraid to make their mark through proactive contribution on Day 1.
