Entertainment Publicity Job Opportunity, Big Machine Media, NYC

Big Machine Media (www.bigmachinemedia.com ) is looking to hire a dynamic, self-starter to work with our music (ROCK, POP and URBAN) and entertainment publicists in our NYC office. This person is responsible for creating and executing publicity campaigns for our music artists (indy, major, International) and entertainment clients, including writing press releases, pitching reviews, features, column items, TV appearances and website coverage.

Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years publicity experience, and a love of music is a must. Additionally, ideal candidates will have:
a. excellent media contacts in the Rock, Pop and Urban genre
b. strong writing skills, and proven experience writing press releases and pitches
c. superior organization and attention to detail
d. strong interpersonal skills
e. have relationships to pull in new business
f. ability to problem solve and manage multiple projects at once
