Scheduler/Executive Assistant, Washington DC
Very active California congressional office is seeking Scheduler/Executive Assistant for a fast passed office. Responsibilities will include maintaining the Member’s schedule in Washington, organizing and tracking scheduling requests including requests from committees, constituents and others, coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements, and maintaining a contact database. The position requires the candidate to be detail oriented, able to multi-task and conform to tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organization skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and experience with Microsoft Office software. The candidate will travel with the Member on and off the Hill so having a personal vehicle is a must. The candidate must be flexible and willing to work long hours.
