Nickelodeon's Parents & Preschool Digital division is looking for a fabulous (yes, truly fabulous!) social media expert to expand the social presence of ParentsConnect.com and NickJr.com. The right fit will have extensive knowledge of the social media landscape (know your Facebook crowd from your Twitter crowd from your Stumble crowd, etc.), excellent writing skills, a mile-long list of contacts in the digital world, tons of creativity and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.

So, what exactly does this job entail? You'll serve as the editorial lead on all social media outreach, including planning and writing all Facebook editorial as well as selecting and tailoring content to share on other social media sites (Stumble, Reddit, Digg, etc.). You'll work closely with the internal digital marketing team to define both our paid and natural social strategy plan. You'll establish relationships with outside sites to syndicate and acquire content as well as to create successful cross-linking partnerships to drive traffic. And then you'll use metrics to track the success of the various social media sites and of specific content and adjust the strategy accordingly.
