Democratic Senator seeking interns to work closely with press staff. The internship is available in the Washington office, and is for the Spring 2011 term, full or part-time.
Duties include drafting press releases and statements, conducting research, attending briefings/hearings, and other basic administrative responsibilities.
The ideal candidate should be personable, energetic, and have a passion for politics.
Qualifications include strong writing and communication skills as well as a demonstrated attention to detail.
Additional consideration will be given to those familiar with IQ.
