Job Title: Public Relations Intern
Description:
Terry Hines & Associates (THA), a full-service entertainment advertising, promotion, publicity and design firm, is seeking interns in their Atlanta office for Summer and Fall 2010. Interns will work directly with the promotional and publicity teams for various motion pictures studios for the Southeastern market, including CBS Films, Lionsgate, MGM, Roadside Attractions, and Warner Bros. The intern will be responsible for researching the target demographic for select studios/projects. The intern is to help generate awareness, enthusiasm and positive word-of-mouth upcoming motion picture releases, utilizing both publicity and promotion to the target demographic.
Qualifications:
-Interns must have strong communication skills and ties to their campus community, be computer literate and comfortable with social networking sites, able to assist in office duties (including voluminous amounts of shipping), able to multi-task and be deadline oriented. Must love movies!
-Interns must be pursuing a degree in public relations, marketing, advertising, or film studies.
-Interns must have some evening availability to assist with promotional screenings of films.
Hours: Varied
Compensation: Unpaid, class credit available
