Job Summary
Assists the Director of Public Relations and Communication with the development and implementation of the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort, Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort, Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Resort and the Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa’s overall strategic public relations programs. Programs include, but are not limited to, media, community and investor/corporate relations, as well as internal communications. Assists in directing the efforts of the marketing, communications and public relations staff and coordinates at the tactical levels with the other functions of the resorts.
Additional Information
This position requires a minimum of two years previous Public Relations experience, with one year of previous hospitality or travel industry experience is preferred. Copywriting experience with a working knowledge of Associated Press writing style is required. Must be highly organized, detailed and have previous media relations background with key hospitality and/or travel press contacts. Requires strong social media skills with an emphasis on using and engaging within social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (predominantly MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint). The position will require some traveling within the state of Arizona. $17.31/hour.
