Internship Opportunity
Job Title: United Way 2-1-1 Ambassador/Intern
Division: 2-1-1
Brief Description:
Articulate messaging regarding the United Way 2-1-1 information and referral services throughout the 13 Metropolitan Atlanta Counties.
Candidates will work closely with 2-1-1 Outreach Marketing Manager and United Way Account Executives during workplace campaign rallies.
Candidates will set displays for marketing events that will educate the public about the 2-1-1 brand and its related services.
Interns are expected to attend a minimum of three events per calendar year and will attend a mandatory three-hour training session.
Qualifications
Pending undergraduate degree required
Effective interpersonal skills and ability to relate with a diverse group of people
Ability to work in harmony with peers and as an active team member
Strong oratory skills, organizational skills, information management, time management and follow-through
Effective verbal and written communication to include grammar, spelling and punctuation
Ability to prioritize work assignments in a fluid and fast-changing environment
Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks with a customer focused mindset
Ability to meet, work and collaborate with other departments and divisional staff
