Responsibilities

Act as a spokesperson including on-camera interviews when necessary.

Formulate and write/edit copy including statements and news releases.

Counsel co-workers and executives in divisions throughout the company on PR strategies and plan/executive announcements.

Accept 'on-call' after-hours duty as part of Corporate Communication's 24-hour readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in communications/journalism required.

At least five years experience in PR/Communications required.

Proficiency in online news gathering and Microsoft Office applications required.

Previous experience in social media required.

Top-notch news writing ability; media experience is valued.

Airline / aviation experience preferred.

Must be prepared to be part of Corporate Communications' 24-hour readiness team and be 'on-call' after hours.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.for any employer without sponsorship.
