Description and Details

Manage public information, marketing, social media outreach and organizational communications programs for the Law Enforcement Division.  Provide strategic policy advice to the Command Staff regrading such areas as internal and external communications, media relations, community relations and public information.  Responsible for efficient operation of statewide public relations programs including direction, coordination, and training of all Law Enforcement Division public spokesperson assignments.  Position is directly responsible to the Law Enforcement Division Command Staff, but is subject to general supervision by the Assistant Director.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, advertising or a related field.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field and One year of area specific experience or
Five years of area specific experience or One year at the lower level or position equivalent
