Digital Communications Coordinator, Alumni Relations, The George Washington University, Washington, DC

The Alumni Digital Communications Coordinator will collaborate with the development digital communications coordinator and colleagues throughout the Division of Development & Alumni Relations to implement constituent-centric digital campaigns that progressively build stronger alumni and donor relationships. The Coordinator will primarily focus on executing email marketing campaigns – directing email traffic and resolving scheduling conflicts – but also will collaborate on content development and constituent engagement via the web, social and mobile platforms. The Coordinator will contribute to marketing and communications planning and will implement digital engagement and fundraising tactics to achieve division-wide and departmental goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma, or equivalent combination of training and experience, is necessary plus three to five years of relevant experience.

Desired Qualifications:

Strong writing, editorial and communications skills.
Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to work in diverse teams and drive projects independently.
Demonstrated ability to create and manage cross-platform marketing initiatives, including strategy development, content creation, user generated content creation, and data analysis.
Experience working with constituent relationship management (CRM) systems, email marketing tools, content management systems (CMS), web analytics tools and social media management platforms, as well as the demonstrated ability to learn new systems.
Working knowledge of HTML and Adobe Creative Suite.
Desire to work in a fast-paced and mission-driven organization.
