Summary
Leading non-profit seeks energetic marketer to work on various projects to primarily support the Director of Marketing & Communications.  Individual will be an integral part of the team responsible for public awareness, advertising, website content and internet marketing, collateral material and media outreach.

Primary Responsibilities
       Manage website updates, quarterly e-newsletters
       Support expansion of social networking, ongoing updates
       Formatting and editing of fact sheets, client profiles and more
       Schedule photo shoots, and client interviews
       Support marketing, communications and public relations projects which may include media outreach, partner presentations, collateral development, event coordination
       Identify and research prospects for sponsorships and corporate partnerships
       Preparation of material for board meetings

Additional Qualifications
       Minimum 2-3 years related experience
       Excellent written and oral communication skills
       Understanding of Drupal, social media, and web analytics a plus
       Creative, flexible and able to work in small group environment
       Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge a plus
       Must be highly organized and detail oriented
       Education: Bachelor (BA, BS, etc.)

Organization Description
Founded in 1981, Citymeals-on-Wheels is a not-for-profit organization and public-private partnership with the New York City Department for the Aging that raises private funds to prepare and deliver weekend, holiday and emergency meals to the homebound elderly throughout the boroughs of New York City.  Last year, Citymeals underwrote the preparation and delivery of 1.8 million meals to 16,500 aged New Yorkers.

One hundred percent of donations from the public to Citymeals goes toward the preparation and delivery of meals for homebound elderly.
