Public Education and Outreach Intern, United Cerebral Palsy (UCP),
Washington, D.C.

United Cerebral Palsy (UCP), a leading service provider and advocate for
people with a spectrum of disabilities, is looking for an energetic and
ambitious intern to assist with UCP’s public education initiatives, and
information and referral (I&R) related tasks, on the External Affairs
team in the national office in Washington, D.C.

Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
 •Research and help develop content for public education and outreach
campaigns
 •Respond to requests from individuals looking for disability related
information and services and enter into database.
 •Create and update web content.
 •Update and maintain state resource guides.
 •Help with administrative tasks and other misc. duties, as needed.

interests.

Candidates should have experience in an office setting, be flexible,
organized, detail-oriented, a team player with willingness to pitch in
where help may needed, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with information dissemination/health communications and/or
disability issues are ideal.
