Regional Organizer

This experienced and energetic person will be responsible for building, organizing and strengthening a regional grassroots network to help Bread for the World accomplish its legislative goals toward ending hunger and poverty in the United States and abroad. The Regional Organizer will work closely with local activists and key national office staff. Must have at least 3 years of previous grassroots organizing experience, a training background, and the ability to determine grassroots strategies, working with local activists and key national staff. Knowledge of U.S. and international hunger and poverty issues, expertise in public policy advocacy, and a broad Christian theological knowledge is a must. Ability to travel 8-10 weeks a year for field work is required. This position is based in the Atlanta, Georgia office.
