Jennings Policy Strategies, Inc., a boutique, nationally-respected health care policy, legislative strategy, and communications consulting firm, is looking for a hardworking and personable legislative/executive assistant to staff the former senior health policy adviser to President Clinton. Position is an outstanding opportunity to gain valuable experience and learn the ins-and-outs of health policy and players.
Duties include: (1) providing high-level administrative support to the firm’s principal; (2) communicating daily with congressional and administration staff and clients; (3) scheduling, answering calls, making travel arrangements and managing office finances and business operations; (4) perform legislative research, writing and analysis.
Requires BA, 1+ years related work experience; strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and Power Point; ability to multi-task and prioritize while performing a variety of tasks with minimal direction; outstanding organizational skills; high energy, initiative, and ability to work well under pressure.
