Public Relations Intern (paid), Association Headquarters, Inc., Mount Laurel, NJ
Association Headquarters, Inc. is seeking a public relations intern to support marketing and public relations initiatives for AH and its client partners. The internship offers a opportunity to get started in a communications career, develop a portfolio, learn about internal and external communications, and get real experience right away. Assignments would include writing media advisories, news releases and other media communications, assisting with the coordination of special events from planning stages to implementation and media list development. Approximately 15-20 hours each week.
Additional duties may include:
-Tracking news clips
-Preparing materials for client meetings, events and new business proposals
-Supporting social media networking as needed
-Performing a variety of administrative tasks
-Opportunity to learn the media landscape including print, broadcast and online
-Other duties as assigned
Must currently be enrolled in college or university. Must have professional demeanor, good interpersonal skills and knowledge of computer programs and social media. Previous internship or work experience preferred.
This internship is paid and students can earn college credit and receive a stipend for travel reimbursement.
