INTERN - COMMUNICATIONS - SUMMER 2010 - DEADLINE 11/30/09
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
Education:
- Progress towards degree in Public Relations, Corporate/Mass Communications, or Journalism
- Minimum Junior status or above
- To be eligible graduation date must be at the end of the semester in which you plan to intern or at least one semester post-internship
- Maintained 2.5 or above GPA
Experience:
- Part-time jobs
- Participation in trade/industry organizations, community involvement, and/or school clubs
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
- Must have knowledge and skills in using social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube)
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and the willingness to function as a part of a Team
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and complete assignments with tight deadlines
- Ability to manager time and multiple tasks effectively
- Oral and written communication skills
